Abdullah Hasan graduated with an Imam Diploma, BA and Ijaza Aaliyah in Islamic Studies from the European College for Islamic Studies (Wales) and holds a diploma in Arabic from Zarqa Private University (Jordan). He also holds a diploma and certification on Youth & Marriage Counselling.
Founding director of Spring Foundation (SF), a scholarship charity for students of the Islamic sciences, and founding member and panellist at Islamic Shari’ah Council, Greater Manchester.
Involved with grass roots da’wah organisations in the UK since 1998 and an active community leader and activist.
Previous posts include Director of Islamic Studies and Student affairs for the European Academy of Islamic Studies, Inter-faith Coordinator and Arabic & Islamic Studies teacher at London East Academy. Currently Imam & Khateeb of Neeli Masjid & Islamic Centre (Rochdale) and and Islamic advisor for the charity Nour Domestic Violence.
Rizwana Patel studied the Aalimah course at Madressa Muinul Islaam (South Africa) for one year and then completed her studies at Jamea Al Kauthar (Lancaster) under Hazrat Moulana Fazl Haq Wadee Sahib where she graduated in 2006. She then taught the Aalimah classes after her graduation for a further two years. She now resides in Leicester where she is a teacher in an Islamic school, helping to nurture the youth of today into practicing believers Insha’Allah. Rizwana additionally also teaches children ranging from 7-15 in a Madrassa and tutors children in Deeni knowledge. Currently she is studying at the University Of Leicester to become a qualified school teacher as she believes studying is an ongoing course.
Taiba Khan graduated in the Aalimah course at Jamea al Kauthar (Lancaster) under Sheikh Al Hadeeth Molana Fadl Haq Wadee Sahib. After the completion of her studies at the school, she taught at the school for two years. She then taught the Aalimah classes after her graduation for a further two years. She now teaches at her own Madrassa, where she teaches Seerah to women and two other classes for children and teenagers. Taiba contributes her time in community work and monthly Islamic women’s programme where she delivers talks. She also holds monthly classes for a question and answer session with revert sisters.
Jasmin Ahmed graduated from Jamea Al Kauthar, Lancaster where she completed a two-year intensive course and now teaches Tajweed, arabic and seerat un Nabi SalAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam in Imam Zakariya Academy (London). She is currently completing her alimah course in Quwwatul Islam, London, and is in her third year. Jasmin has studied under various Ustaadhas where she was taught al bukhari, tajweed, Aqeedatu tahawi, fiqh, Qur’an tafsir and seerat un nabi SalAllahu alaihi wa Sallam. She is also studying GCSE Arabic and learning to speak Arabic and Urdu fluently.
