How You Can Help

Your contribution can make a real difference to the lives of victims of domestic violence. Like every stone which builds a mountain, your help on any scale is valuable. There are so many different ways to become involved and support our work at Nour.

A major obstacle when trying to help victims of DV, is the lack of awareness of its existence in different minority communities. You can help by spreading awareness of DV within your family and friends and even help publicise it on any social websites and forums that you are registered with.

You can also organise and take part in small fundraising initiatives at your local school, college or university, to inform and educate the public about DV but to also raise funds towards our projects at Nour. We will provide all the necessary support and materials you may need. Simply send us an email with your fundraising ideas to [email protected]

Nour is a charity and we rely on the generous contribution you provide for us. You can help victims of DV by simply donating to Nour, this can be deemed as sadaqah or just a kind contribution. To donate now click here.

If you feel you can go that one step further then why not consider becoming a volunteer with Nour? All that is required from you is passion and motivation. You will not only be helping work towards an honourable cause but you will also be able to develop many skills such as communication and leadership which will benefit you in whichever endeavour you decide to pursue. To become a volunteer simply fill our volunteer form and we look forward to hearing from you.
